Life Coach Training Rip Off

Updated: May 19, 2019

Are you wanting to be a Life Coach, you’ve searched online for all the possible life coaching schools you can enroll in. You read the testimonials, and weigh the decision of which coaching school to invest your money in.

This is something I did way back when I first heard of life coaching and wanted to be a Life Coach. I still look periodically and look at the Life Coaching training schools out there and I have to admit, time has jaded my view of some of these schools.

I recently came across one where they are selling a DVD Life Coach Training program. It sells for around $900 US funds. Which as far as Life Coaching Training education, that is somewhat reasonably priced. But here is the kicker. There are lots of testimonials about how terrific this program is. Some of these people who gave testimonials put on their website addresses on their testimonial. So out of curiosity, I decided to go visit their website. I was thinking of contacting them and asking them personally how they liked the training they received. But, the problem is, not one of the websites worked. Now I have to say, I would be a little skeptical when shelling out quite a bit of money, and not one of these people who wrote testimonials with websites are in business as a life coach? No thank you, I think I’ll pass on that training.

Now I will admit, I’ve taken a few Life Coach Training programs. Why would I pay good money for more than one Life Coach Training? Because I didn’t really learn how to coach in most of these training programs. Or what I learned left me feeling more lost as to how to work with a client than confident. I embarrassingly admit I’ve spent well over $20,000 in Coach training, before I finally felt that I had a clue how to coach. In fact some of my best life coaching training, was not at a Life Coach training program at all. Some of the best Coaching practice I had was when I was taking Theta Healing Practitioner Training. Isn’t that a kicker!

The amount of money I spent in trying to feel competent in my coaching skills really frustrated me. I was tired of paying for training programs (programs that often charge $4000 to $8000 per course), being out quite large sums of money and still feeling like I had no idea how to really coach or help a client. But I kept trying because I really wanted to be a Life Coach and help people.

I now train other in how to be a Life Coach or Weight Loss Coach. I don’t charge thousands of dollars, and your training doesn’t end until you feel confident in your coaching skills. I don’t know of any other Life Coach Training school that will keep working with you until you are able to confidently coach.

I have been there and it makes me sad to see people getting ripped off and not getting the proper training on how to actually coach a client. So I strive to be different. I strive to make sure you get your money’s worth (without going broke). I strive to make sure you feel like you know how and feel confident on how to coach.
