Weight Loss For Men

Recently I was Googling to see what other weight loss programs are out there, and I have to say, if I was a male, I’d be quite disappointed. 99% of the sites were about how men should exercise or what supplements they should take so they can be ‘buff’ and lose weight. Well what a let-down. Exercise does not help you lose weight and keep it off!! Let me repeat that… Exercise DOES NOT help you lose weight and keep it off. In fact there was only website that I found that actually catered to men that didn’t focus around exercise or supplements.

It is what you put in your mouth that really makes a difference. And that is no different from men or women. Now quantities and how much a person can consume of sugary or salty treats vary from person to person and gender to gender.

It got me to wondering where do men go to lose weight when they are struggling as well? I will admit most of the people that seek my services are women, but I want to let you men know. I work with men as well. In fact I would welcome any men who are seeking to lose weight without having to become a super macho man, and lift tons of weight each day.

After years of Coaching, I know for a fact that what we think affects how we behave. This is true no matter if your man or woman. If you are telling yourself that you feel deprived when you can’t have your favorite junk food…. Then you absolutely will feel deprived. It’s when you decide to think that you don’t want that junk food because it causes you to gain weight that you have a much better chance of resisting that junk food.
